The Valley Christian Academy Lions volleyball team (Santa Maria, CA), was tipped 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA)

The Rangers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Malibu (Malibu, CA). The Sharks enter the Citrus Coast contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Malibu was edged by Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maricopa for a Coast Valley test on Tuesday, September 16. Valley Christian Academy will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Laton (Laton, CA). The Indians record now stands at 0-5.
