Oakwood Hawks (Morgan Hill, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host North Salinas Vikings (Salinas, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marina (Marina, CA). The Mariners come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Marina was beaten by Clovis West (Fresno, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. North Salinas will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Santa Catalina (Monterey, CA).
