Florida High School Volleyball - Sumner Parrish Community

In Saturday's non-league battle, the Parrish Community Bulls (Parrish, FL) volleyball squad toppled the host Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL), by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Parrish Community improves its record to 4-8 on the season. The Bulls host Palmetto (Palmetto, FL) to encounter the Tigers in a 6A District 11 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Palmetto won 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL)

The Stingrays now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tampa Bay Tech for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. Sumner will battle a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hillsborough (Tampa, FL). The Titans record now stands at 5-2.
