With the win, Veritas School improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to encounter the Truckers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. The Truckers enter the contest with a record of 3-2. Churchland won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA)

The Knights now own a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tucker County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. Preston will meet a Mountain Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 1-1.
