In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Providence Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs.

The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Straughn was edged by Andalusia (Andalusia, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Opp for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. UMS-Wright Prep will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Providence Christian (Dothan, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-5.
