Illinois High School Volleyball - Reed-Custer over Sandwich

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) and the host Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), observed Reed-Custer's volleyball team top Sandwich by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Reed-Custer improves its record to 1-8 on the season. The Comets travel to Herscher (Herscher, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a Illinois Central Eight battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 2-9. Herscher lost 2-0 in their recent league battle against Streator (Streator, IL)

The Indians now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Creek for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. Sandwich will meet a Timberwolves team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Timberwolves record now stands at 0-10.
