The Sunset Apollos volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting St. Mary's Academy Blues to 1 in the Apollos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Apollos now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Jesuit for a 6A Metro outing on Tuesday, September 16. Sunset will play a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, St. Mary's Academy drops to 5-1 on the campaign. The Blues travel to Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR) to confront the Lakers in a 6A Three Rivers game on Tuesday, September 16. The Lakers go into the game with a record of 1-3. Lake Oswego lost 3-0 in their recent league game against West Linn (West Linn, OR)
