Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Swett Warriors (Crockett, CA) and the host Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), observed Swett's volleyball team top Tennyson by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Gauchos go into the Tri-County - Stone battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, El Cerrito dropped by Alhambra (Martinez, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Lancers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McClymonds for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16.
