The Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds (Delavan, WI) volleyball overcame the host Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings (Knoxville, TN), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Firebirds (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Maranatha Baptist (Watertown, WI). The Crusaders enter the Indian Trails contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Maranatha Baptist dropped by Marquette Manor Baptist Academy (Downers Grove, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13.
