The Pueblo County Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmer Ridge for a non-league game on Thursday, September 16. Pueblo County will meet a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.

The Red-Tailed Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO). The Trojans enter the game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Fountain-Fort Carson was nudged by Canon City (Canon City, CO), 2-0, in a non-league game.
