In Tuesday's non-league game, the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Southeastern HomeSchool Cardinals (Wilmington, NC), by a final score of 5-0.
The Hurricanes (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Wesleyan Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC), 1-0, in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Life Camp for a challenge on Friday, September 17. Southeastern HomeSchool will confront a Storm team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Storm record now stands at 2-0.
