In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Barrington Eagles soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Classical Purples.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Warriors come into the State Championship Division battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Central Falls was nudged by Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 6-3, in a league battle.
The Purples (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI). The Tigers come into the State Championship Division battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Tolman was nudged by Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 2-1, in a league battle.
