The Newton Local Indians volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Dixie Greyhounds to 1 in the Indians league victory on Wednesday.

The Indians now have a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a non-league game on Saturday, September 17. Newton Local will meet a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Covington (Covington, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 3-9.

The Greyhounds (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Greenon (Springfield, OH). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 0-8 record.
