Illinois High School Volleyball - Loyola Academy edged by Metea Valley

The Metea Valley Mustangs held off the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosary for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 14. Metea Valley will confront a Royals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Royals record now stands at 1-8.
The Ramblers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, IC Catholic Prep held off Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
