Maryland High School Football - Atholton nips Wilde Lake

September 14, 2023: Columbia, MD 21044

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Atholton Raiders football squad scored a close 16-14 victory over the Wilde Lake Wildecats.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County match, on Saturday, September 23. Atholton will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 28-18 league loss to River Hill (Clarksville, MD).

The Wildecats (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Lions enter the Howard County match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Howard held off Long Reach (Columbia, MD), 24-0, in a league match.
