The Bethel Wildcats football team (Bethel, CT), was ripped 40-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT)

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT). The Terriers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Rocky Hill was ripped by Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT), 29-26, in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Plainville for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Bethel will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 21-6 league win over Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-1.
