In Thursday's non-league game, the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) football team knocked off the visiting San Joaquin Memorial Panthers (Fresno, CA), by a final score of 31-3.

The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Clovis West (Fresno, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the Tri-River game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Clovis West toppled Edison (Fresno, CA), 35-6, in a non-league game.

The Panthers now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a County/Metro game on Friday, September 29.
