The Ridge Point Panthers held off the visiting Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes football team by a final score of 43-36 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Ridge Point improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to confront the Vikings in a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Thursday, September 21. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Fort Bend Dulles lost 30-0 in their recent league outing against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX)

With the loss, Fort Bend Hightower moves to 3-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 20 outing on Friday, September 22. The Broncos go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Fort Bend Bush lost 59-7 in their recent league outing against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX)
