The King Brahmas football team (Kingsville, TX), was tipped 17-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX)

The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Panthers come into the 3A-1 Region IV District 15 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Aransas Pass was tipped by Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX), 55-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Brahmas now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuloso-Midway for a 4A-1 Region IV District 16 challenge on Friday, September 22. King will meet a Warriors/Cherokees team coming off a 40-0 non-league win over West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors/Cherokees record now stands at 4-0.
