The St. Mary's Academy Crusaders football squad scored 14 points and restricted the host KIPP Legacy to 8 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Thursday.

The Crusaders now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christ Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 23. St. Mary's Academy will play a Patriots squad coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Center (Kansas City, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the play the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) in a Crossroads battle, on Friday, September 22. KIPP Legacy will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Guardians enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 35-13 non-league win over Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO).
