Connecticut High School Football - Staples smashes Ridgefield

The Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) football routed the visiting Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT), 42-3 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Wreckers face the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 22. Staples will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Knights enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 26-0 non-league win over Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT).

The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Blue Devils enter the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, West Haven walloped Law (Milford, CT), 47-14, in a non-league bout.
