In Thursday's non-league game, the San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) football team knocked off the host Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), by a final score of 29-14.
The Tritons (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Nighthawks come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Murrieta Valley toppled King (Riverside, CA), 34-14, in a non-league game.
The Chargers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Newport Harbor for a game on Thursday, October 12.
