Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Solorio Sun Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Taft will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Sun Warriors enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL).

The Warriors now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Vernon Hills for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 20.
