The Manitou Springs Mustangs held off the host Banning Lewis Academy Stallions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Vanguard School for a test on Tuesday, October 3.
The Stallions (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Panthers enter the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Woodland Park was nudged by Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0, in a non-league test.
