Indiana High School Soccer - Jay County held off by Bellmont

The Bellmont Braves held off the visiting Jay County Patriots soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league match.

The Braves now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they host New Haven for a Northeast Hoosier match on Monday, September 18. Bellmont will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Heritage (Monroeville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Jay County drops to 2-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to encounter the Warriors in a Allen County match on Saturday, September 16.
