Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Greenback Cherokees (Greenback, TN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Polk County will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record.

The Cherokees now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cosby for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Greenback will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Cocke County (Newport, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
