Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), 14-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Thunder confront the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Zimmerman will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Bluejackets enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN).
The Tigers now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Rapids for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Princeton will confront a Thunderhawks team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 1-3.
