The Alleghany Trojans football team (Sparta, NC), was beaten 30-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC)
The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Mount Airy achieved victory over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 50-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Stokes for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 28.
