The Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) football nudged the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 13-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 21. Crest will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Storm enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 38-20 non-league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
The Greenwave (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Forestview held off North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 45-14, in a non-league bout.
