The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes football team (Fairmont, NC), was knocked off 34-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC)

The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Western Harnett was knocked off by Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 54-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Midway for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 28.
