Lake Shore Shorians (St. Clair Shores, MI) fans exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they saw their football team top the visiting Fitzgerald Spartans (Warren, MI), 42-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Shorians (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cousino (Warren, MI). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Cousino knocked off Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI), 19-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eastpointe for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21.
