In Thursday's non-league game, the Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) football team knocked off the visiting Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), by a final score of 29-16.
The Comets (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Everett (Lansing, MI). The Vikings come into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Everett was dropped by Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI), 60-0, in a non-league game.
