The Gulf Buccaneers football squad scored 14 points and limited the host River Ridge Royal Knights to 7 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Thursday.
The Buccaneers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sunlake for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 21. Gulf will encounter a Seahawks team coming off a 28-12 non-league loss to Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, River Ridge moves to 1-3 on the season. The Royal knights travel to Fivay (Hudson, FL) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 21.
