The Lowell Catholic Crusaders held off the host Academy of Notre Dame Lancers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Crusaders now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Revere for a non-league test on Friday, September 15.

The Lancers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
