The Chewelah Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Inchelium Hornets to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Asotin for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16. Chewelah will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

The Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Northport (Northport, WA). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Northport defeated St. George's (Spokane, WA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
