The Eastern Mennonite Flames volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops to 0 in the Flames league victory on Thursday.

The Flames now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roanoke Catholic for a game on Monday, September 18. Eastern Mennonite will meet a Celtics team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Celtics record now stands at 1-5.

The Bishops (0-1) will now prepare for their game against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders enter the game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, North Cross dropped by Craig County (New Castle, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
