In Thursday's non-league contest, the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) volleyball squad nudged the host Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Saxons battle the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 19. Langley will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Fighting Owls go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA).
With the loss, Stone Bridge moves to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 21. The Falcons go into the contest with a record of 1-0.
