Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Colonels confront the Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Bourbon County will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Conner (Hebron, KY).

The Thorobreds now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Mason County for a District 38 challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Harrison County will confront a Royals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Royals record now stands at 6-4.
