Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights face the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Cabell Midland will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY).

The Cougars now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host University for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Capital will face a Hawks team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 4-7.
