In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting DeKalb Barons soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the Woodlan Warriors.
The Barons (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Norwell (Ossian, IN). The Knights go into the Northeast Hoosier battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Norwell by Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Jay County (Portland, IN). The Patriots go into the Allen County battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Jay County nipped Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
