North Carolina High School Soccer - North Lenoir knocks off SouthWest Edgecombe

North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a East Central 2A challenge, on Monday, September 18. North Lenoir will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC).
The Cougars now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Pitt for a Eastern Plains 2A challenge on Monday, September 18. SouthWest Edgecombe will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-1.
