West Virginia High School Soccer - Sissonville overwhelmed by Ripley

Spectators at Thursday's non-league contest between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the host Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), observed Ripley's soccer team triumph over Sissonville by a score of 7-2.

Next, the Vikings face the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 16. Ripley will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 4-2 league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV).

The Indians now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherman for a non-league contest on Monday, September 18. Sissonville will face a Tide team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Tide record now stands at 2-6.
