The Aquinas Monarchs routed the visiting Pierce Bluejays softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Monarchs (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Highway 91 (Leigh, NE). The go into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record.

The Bluejays now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to South Sioux City for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 16. Pierce will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Cuming County (West Point, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-16.
