Colorado High School Softball - La Junta falls to Discovery Canyon

September 14, 2023: La Junta, CO 81050

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the La Junta Tigers.

Coming up next, the Thunder battle the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak outing, on Monday, September 18. Discovery Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Rangers enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 15-0 league loss to Lutheran (Parker, CO).

The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Florence (Florence, CO). The Huskies enter the 3A Tri Peaks outing with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, Florence was routed by Burlington (Burlington, CO), 17-2, in a non-league outing.
