The Fairland Owls nipped the host Jenks Trojans softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Owls (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK). The Bears go into the 2A battle with a 28-10 record. In their last battle, Wyandotte held off Vinita (Vinita, OK), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Trojans now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Red Oak for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 14. Jenks will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Caddo (Caddo, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 18-9.
