In Thursday's non-league contest, the Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK) softball team held off the visiting Red Oak Eagles (Red Oak, OK), by a margin of 2-1.
With the triumph, Jenks moves its record to 9-10 on the year. The Trojans host Mustang (Mustang, OK) to play the Broncos in a 6A District 4 contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Broncos come into the contest with a record of 16-7.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 14. Red Oak will attempt to move on its 19-10 season record.
