The Papillion-LaVista Monarchs softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Staley Falcons to 1 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Papillion-LaVista improves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Monarchs host Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, September 15. The Knights come into the game with a record of 2-12.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 15. Staley will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 18-1 record after their 18-8 league win over Millard South (Omaha, NE).
