The Banneker Trojans volleyball team (College Park, GA), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA)

The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 16-2 record. In their last challenge, Morrow defeated Rockdale County (Conyers, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA) in a 5A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Banneker will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA).
