The Big Lake Hornets held off the host Princeton Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.
The Hornets now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sauk Rapids-Rice for a non-league test on Monday, September 18. Big Lake will confront a Storm team coming off a 3-1 league win over Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Storm record now stands at 6-4.
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Monticello, MN). The Magic enter the Mississippi 8 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Monticello held off Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
