The Brewer Patriots topped the host Carbon Hill Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springville for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Brewer will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-2.
The Bulldogs (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 3-19 record. In their last test, Hatton was knocked off by Winston County (Double Springs, AL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
